SILVIS, Ill., July 11 (UPI) -- Darron Stiles shot a 6-under 65 Saturday to take a three-stroke lead at 13-under-par 129 at the midway point of the John Deere Classic.

Steve Stricker had a 10-under 61 Saturday to move from a tie for 80th to second place at 10-under 132. Jerry Kelly (64) and Tim Petrovic (67) share third at 9-under 133.

The second round was completed Saturday after rain washed out all of Friday's action. The plan is to play both the third and final rounds Sunday.

"Today feels more satisfying than the first round did even though the first round score was lower," Stiles said. "Tomorrow's going to be a long day."

Stiles won four times in his Nationwide Tour career but has yet to break through on the PGA Tour. He participated in 11 previous tournaments this year and has one withdrawal, a tie for 34th in New Orleans and nine missed cuts.
