FOXBOROUGH, Mass., July 11 (UPI) -- New England goalie Matt Reis had a career-high 11 saves Saturday, when the Revolution and Kansas City played to a scoreless tie in Major League Soccer action.

Neither team mustered a needed goal to earn three points in the standings.

The Revolution (4-5-5) took only three shots on goal. Reis made a critical stop on a shot by the Wizards' Claudio Lopez in the 28th minute.

The Wizards (5-6-5) lost Lance Watson to a foul (red card) in the 81st minute, leaving them with 10 men.

New England, which was unable to beat KC goalkeeper Kevin Hartman, has won just twice in its last 11 games and remains in sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

Kansas City has one win in its last six games.
