BRIDGEVIEW, Ill., July 11 (UPI) -- Jon Busch had his fourth shutout Saturday to help the Chicago Fire gain first place in the MSL Eastern Conference with a 0-0 draw against Columbus.
Chicago (6-3-7) is winless in its last six home matches -- four draws and two losses -- but still holds a one-point edge over D.C. United.
Columbus (5-3-9) remained one point behind Chicago and is even with United on points in the East.
Will Hesmer made five saves for the Crew to earn his second shutout in seven matches this season.
