JOLIET, Ill., July 11 (UPI) -- Joey Logano, running on used tires, held on following a late-race restart Friday to win the Nationwide Series Dollar General 300 at Joliet, Ill.

Logano passed teammate Kyle Busch for the lead at Chicagoland Speedway just before a caution for debris came out with less than 20 laps remaining.

Busch and the other leaders came into the pits for new tires, but crew chief Dave Rogers kept Logano on the track.

Jason Leffler also chose to stay out with old tires, and Busch quickly passed Leffler on the restart. He could not catch Logano, however, during the final laps.

"I can't believe it," Busch radioed to his pit after the restart. "He's driving away from me."

It was the fourth Nationwide victory of Logano's career. He combined with Busch to lead for 174 laps of the 200-lap race.
