BALTIMORE, July 10 (UPI) -- Brett Cecil allowed four hits over six innings Friday and teamed with four relievers on a shutout, leading the Toronto Blue Jays to a 2-0 win over Baltimore.

The Blue Jays ended a three-game losing streak and won for just the third time in 13 contests.

Toronto's Scott Rolen was hitless in four at bats, bringing an end to his career-high 25-game hitting streak. He had been trying to tie John Olerud and Shannon Stewart for the second-longest such streak in franchise history.

Cecil (3-1) struck out five and won for the first time since May 15. Scott Downs worked a 1-2-3 ninth for his ninth save.

Both Toronto runs came in the fifth, with David Dellucci getting an RBI on a ground out and Raul Chavez producing a run-scoring double.

The loss went to Jason Berken (1-6) after he gave up two runs on five hits in 5 2/3 innings.

Both teams played without their manager. Toronto's Cito Gaston will miss at least two games while attending his sister's funeral. Baltimore's Dave Trembley served the first of a two-game suspension after being ejected Tuesday and remaining in the dugout runway.
