MILWAUKEE, July 10 (UPI) -- Matt Kemp climaxed a six-run 10th inning with a grand slam homer Friday, boosting the Los Angeles Dodgers to a wild 12-8 win over Milwaukee.
The Dodgers trailed by a run going into the ninth, but Mark Loretta's one-out single drove in Russell Martin to force extra innings. Los Angeles made short work of the Brewers in the 10th, sending 10 men to the plate en route to their second straight victory.
Carlos Villanueva (2-6) retired only one batter in the big inning to take the loss.
Manny Ramirez drew a one-out walk and scored one pitch later on Casey Blake's triple. Juan Pierre was walked intentionally and Russell Martin followed with an infield single that scored Blake.
Orlando Hudson worked a walk to load the bases and Kemp blasted his 11th homer of the year to left-center.
That made a winner out of Ramon Troncoso (3-0), who did not allow a run over 1 2/3 innings of relief despite giving up three hits.
Milwaukee scored two runs in its half of the 10th off Jonathan Broxton after loading the bases with nobody out.
The teams combined for 25 hits.
