MLB: Pittrsburgh 6, Houston 3

HOUSTON, July 7 (UPI) -- Jack Wilson had a home run and three RBI Tuesday, helping the Pittsburgh Pirates beat the Houston Astros 6-3.

Andrew McCutchen had an RBI and scored a run for the Pirates. Paul Maholm (6-4) allowed two runs on six hits in six innings for Pittsburgh's third win in its past 10 games.

Brian Moehler (5-5) remained winless at home in seven starts after yielding four runs on three hits and two walks in 6 1/3 innings.

Michael Bourn, Lance Berkman and Hunter Pence each drove in a run, and Ivan Rodriguez had three hits for the Astros.
