MLB: Texas 5, Tampa Bay 2

ARLINGTON, Texas, July 6 (UPI) -- Marlon Byrd had two RBI for Texas Sunday in a 5-2 victory over Tampa Bay that stretched the Rangers' win streak to five games.

Byrd singled in one run and sent another home with a sacrifice fly. David Murphy collected three hits and added another RBI with a sacrifice.

Texas starter Scott Feldman (7-2) worked six innings, allowing three hits and two runs. Jason Jennings, C.J. Wilson and Frank Francisco each pitched a perfect inning of relief for the Rangers and Francisco earned his 14th save.

Carl Crawford extended his hitting streak to 13 games and scored a run for the Rays, who have dropped four straight contests.

Loser Matt Garza (6-6) gave up five runs and seven hits in five innings.
