
ANAHEIM, Calif., July 5 (UPI) -- Vladimir Guerrero hit a three-run homer in a six-run eighth inning Saturday, leading the Los Angeles Angels to an 11-4 win over the Baltimore Orioles.
Guerrero had two hits and four RBI. His monster homer into the left field seats capped the big uprising.
Torii Hunter had two hits and three RBI, Bobby Abreu had three hits and one RBI, and Chone Figgins scored three times with two hits and one RBI. Maicer Izturis had three hits and Kendry Morales two for the Angels, who had 17 hits in just their second win in five games.
The winner was reliever Jason Bulger (3-1).
Baltimore's Adam Jones had three hits and two RBI. Brian Roberts had two hits and one RBI and Nick Markakis had one RBI for the Orioles, who have lost three of four.
The losing pitcher was reliever Danys Baez (4-3).
The Angels went 6-for-14 with runners in scoring position to Baltimore's 4-for-8.
