
CHICAGO, July 5 (UPI) -- Derek Lee hit a two-run homer and drove in a third run as well Sunday, helping the Chicago Cubs wallop the Milwaukee Brewers 8-2.
Lee's 15th homer this season gave Chicago a 2-0 lead with one out in the bottom of the first inning.
Jake Fox hit a two-run homer in the fifth.
Mike Fontenot, Kosuke Fukudome and Geovany Soto also drove in runs for the Cubs, who won three in the four-game series.
Winner Ted Lilly (8-6) yielded two runs and nine hits in 6 1/3 innings with no walks and nine strikeouts.
Casey McGehee led Milwaukee with three hits and one RBI. Prince Fielder hit a fourth-inning solo homer for the Brewers, who have lost four of five.
Losing pitcher Mike Burns (1-2) gave up seven runs and nine hits in 4 2/3 innings.
