
CLEVELAND, June 30 (UPI) -- Gordon Beckham was 3-for-4 with a homer, two RBI and two runs Tuesday to help the Chicago White Sox beat Cleveland 11-4.
The game was called in the seventh inning because of rain.
Paul Konerko hit a two-run homer and Josh Fields a solo homer for the White Sox, who had 17 hits. Jermaine Dye was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored for Chicago, which has won four in a row.
The game was delayed three times for a total of 1 hour, 59 minutes.
Clayton Richard (3-1) four runs on four hits for the win.
Travis Hafner hit a solo homer for the Indians, who have lost four straight. Asdrubal Cabrera had a three-run double for Cleveland, which managed just four hits. Cliff Lee (4-7) took the loss after giving up seven runs on 11 hits in three-plus innings.
