MIAMI, June 29 (UPI) -- Ricky Nolasco gave up only four hits in eight innings Monday and the Florida Marlins scored two runs in the eighth in a 4-2 win over Washington.
Nolasco (5-6) got his third straight victory while allowing two runs with eight strikeouts and no walks.
Hanley Ramirez, named National League Player of the Week Monday, was 3-for-4 with an RBI and Emilio Bonifacio and Cody Ross each had RBIs in the eighth.
Scott Olsen, who played with the Marlins from 2005-2008, worked seven innings against his former teammates. He allowed six hits and two runs while striking out seven with no walks. He hadn't pitched since losing to Philadelphia May 16 and was activated from the disabled list Sunday.
Ryan Zimmerman hit a solo home run and Josh Willingham had two hits and scored for Washington, which has only two wins in its last eight games.
