MLB: Boston 4, Baltimore 0

BALTIMORE, June 29 (UPI) -- J.D. Drew had a homer and two RBI and Jon Lester pitched seven scoreless innings Monday to lead the Boston Red Sox to a 4-0 victory over Baltimore.

Dustin Pedroia and Jason Varitek drove in the other two runs for the Red Sox, who have won seven of their last nine games.

Lester (7-6) scattered five hits while striking out eight without a walk. Jonathan Papelbon recorded the final out for his 19th save.

Ty Wigginton had two hits for the Orioles, who have lost five of their last seven.

Jason Berken (1-5) took the loss after allowing four runs on eight hits over five innings.
