Tommie Harris' wife dies

SEATTLE, June 28 (UPI) -- Nate Jaqua and Fredy Montero both figured in all the goals Sunday in a 3-0 Seattle Sounders FC win over the Colorado Rapids.
Jaqua had an assist when Montero scored the first Sounders goal midway through the first half, and then scored twice in the second half to help Seattle goalkeeper Kasey Keller post his fifth shutout. Montero assisted on both of Jaqua's scores.
A crowd of 32,526 at Qwest Field saw Seattle (6-3-7) extend its unbeaten run to four games. The Sounders have lost just one of their last 11 matches and hold a four-point lead over the Rapids for third place in the Western Conference.
Colorado (5-3-6) lost for the first time since April 19, a stretch of eight matches.
