
LOS ANGELES, June 28 (UPI) -- Jose Lopez had three hits and two RBI Sunday to lead the Seattle Mariners to a 4-2 inter-league win over the Los Angeles Dodgers.
Lopez's two-run double staked Seattle to a 4-0 lead with two outs in the top of the third. He also singled, stole second and scored on an RBI single by Franklin Gutierrez in the second.
Adrian Beltre had one RBI and Ronny Cedeno added two hits for the Mariners, who have won four of five.
Winner Garrett Olson (3-2) gave up two earned runs and four hits in five innings, while closer David Aardsma recorded his 16th save with a 1-2-3 ninth.
Matt Kemp hit a fifth-inning solo homer and Andre Ethier drove in a run with a sacrifice fly, also in the fifth, for Los Angeles, which has lost four of its last five.
Losing pitcher Hiroki Kuroda (2-4) surrendered four runs and eight hits in 6 1/3 innings with no walks and five strikeouts.
