LOS ANGELES, June 27 (UPI) -- Andre Ethier hit three homers and drove in six runs Friday, propelling the Los Angeles Dodgers to an 8-2 inter-league romp over Seattle.
Ethier opened the scoring with a three-run blast in the second, hit a two-run shot in the sixth and had a solo homer in the eighth. He has 14 home runs for the season.
Casey Blake also homered for the Dodgers, a solo shot off Mariners' starter Jason Vargas (3-3).
Los Angeles snapped a two-game skid, those two losses coming against the Chicago White Sox at the end of a six-game road trip.
Clayton Kershaw (5-5) benefited from the home run support, getting the win by allowing two runs on five hits in six innings. He came into the game with a 1.91 ERA at Dodger Stadium this season.
Seattle had won five of its previous six games.
