DETROIT, June 25 (UPI) -- Magglio Ordonez and Ramon Santiago hit two-run homers Thursday, helping the Detroit Tigers hold on for a 6-5 inter-league win over the Chicago Cubs.

Thursday's victory capped a three-game Tigers sweep at Comerica Park.

One of Santiago's two hits was his third-inning homer. The homer by Ordonez came with one out in the bottom of the fourth.

Ryan Raburn had three hits and two RBI, while Miguel Cabrera added two hits for the Tigers, whose longest winning streak this season was seven in a row from May 15-22.

The winner was starter Armando Galarraga (4-7).

Closer Fernando Rodney recorded his 16th save despite giving up Micah Hoffpauir's solo homer in the ninth.

Chicago's Jake Fox had three hits -- one a three-run homer in the first, his first in the majors.

Kosuke Fukudome had two hits and one RBI and Rafael Soriano had two hits for the Cubs, who have lost four in a row.
