LOS ANGELES, June 24 (UPI) -- Former USC men's basketball player Stais Boseman was arrested this week after a carjacking, Los Angeles police said.
LAPD officer April Harding told the Los Angeles Times that Boseman, 35, was taken into custody early Sunday morning and is being held on $111,564 bail.
Full details of the incident were not available late Tuesday.
Before he played hoops for the Trojans in the mid 1990s, Boseman was a two-sport athlete at Inglewood's Morningside High School.
In 1993, he was a Parade All-American in football, when he was the school's quarterback.
The same year, Morningside's basketball team won a state title, and the Los Angeles Times reported that later, he and the team were the focus of "Hardwood Dreams: Ten Years Later," a 90-minute documentary about the lifestyle of young basketball players.
