MINNEAPOLIS, June 21 (UPI) -- Wandy Rodriguez held Minnesota to a run and two hits in seven innings Sunday, leading the Houston Astros to a 4-1 inter-league win over the Twins.
The crafty left-hander walked three batters and fanned eight in 114 pitches on the way to taming one of baseball's best lineup.
He also allowed two hits in seven scoreless innings in a 7-0 win over Cincinnati on April 18.
Houston's Jeff Keppinger and Hunter Pence both had three hits and one RBI.
Miguel Tejada had one RBI, while Michael Bourn had two runs and two hits for the Astros, who took the final two games in the series and have won three of four overall.
Closer Jose Valverde earned his fifth save with a 1-2-3 ninth.
Minnesota's run scored on Michael Cuddyer's second-inning homer.
Brian Buscher had the other hit for the Twins, who have lost three of five.
Losing pitcher Glen Perkins (2-4) was charged with four earned runs and nine hits in seven innings in his second start since coming back from the disabled list.
