EASTBOURNE, England, June 20 (UPI) -- Russia's Dmitry Tursonov won the Aegon International tennis tournament in Eastbourne, England, Saturday with a 6-3, 7-6 (7-5) win over Canadian Frank Dancevic.

Tursonov overcame an 0-30 deficit at 3-4 in the first set and later captured a tournament title on a grass court surface for the first time in his career.

He served 12 service aces to 10 for Dancevic.

Tursonov's sixth title overall was worth $100,000.

"I am definitely going to try to come out, unless I am going to be on crutches," the 26-year-old Tursunov said about his chances at Wimbledon next week, referring to his surgery last May to remove large bone spurs from his left ankle.

It was taped before the second set tie-break.

The 126th-ranked Dancevic, 24, playing in a final for the first time, was seeking his first title.
