LUMBRES, France, June 20 (UPI) -- Sweden's Christian Nilsson shot 6-under-par 65 Saturday and built a four-stroke lead after three rounds at the Saint-Omer Open in Lumbres, France.
His 54-hole total, 11-under 202, leads England's James Morrison (70).
Nilsson's third consecutive birdie at the par-4 sixth was a huge factor in Saturday's round.
"Today's round was very satisfying, especially on the front nine," he said. "The key was probably my putting. I've putted well all week really, but today nearly everything I hit dropped in the hole."
Nilsson, the 478th ranked player in the world, shoots for his first European Tour tournament win Sunday.
Second-round leader Wade Ormsby (74) of Australia fell into a share of third place at 4-under 209 with first-round leader Fredrik Andersson Hed (71) of Sweden, Sion E. Bebb (67) of Wales and France's Jose-Filipe Lima (69).
