WASHINGTON, June 19 (UPI) -- Adam Dunn singled in Cristian Guzman from third with one out in the 11th inning Friday, giving Washington a 2-1 inter-league win over Toronto.
The Nationals, with the most losses (46) in the majors, equaled their longest winning streak of the season with their third straight victory.
Jason Frasor (5-1), the seventh Toronto pitcher of the night, retired Corey Patterson to open the 11th. He then gave up an infield single to Guzman and walked Nick Johnson and Ryan Zimmerman to load the bases, bringing up Dunn.
The Washington left fielder drove in the winning with run with a base hit to right on an 0-2 pitch.
Washington starter Jordan Zimmerman drove in the Nationals' only other run with a fielder's choice grounder in the fourth.
The win went to Jesus Colome (1-0), who worked the top of the 11th.
Toronto had a three-game winning streak snapped.
