CHICAGO, June 20 (UPI) -- Andres Blanco scored on a Kerry Wood wild pitch in the bottom of the 13th inning Saturday, boosting the Chicago Cubs to a 6-5 inter-league win over Cleveland.
Blanco scored moments after his one-out RBI single tied the score 5-5.
It was the second straight day that Wood (2-3), a longtime Cub prior to joining the Indians, surrendered the winning run.
Derek Lee had two hits, extending his hitting streak to 17 straight games, and two RBI. Lee's solo ninth-inning homer off Wood Friday helped the Cubs record an 8-7 win.
Micah Hoffpauir hit a two-run sixth-inning homer and Kosuke Fukudome had two runs and four hits for the Cubs, who can sweep the series with a win Sunday.
The winning pitcher was David Patton (3-1).
Cleveland's Luis Valbuena had three hits, including two solo homers. Jhonny Peralta had three hits -- one a sixth-inning solo homer -- and two RBI.
Jamey Carroll added two hits for the Indians, who have lost five a row.
