Turunov meets Dancevic in Eastbourne final

EASTBOURNE, England, June 19 (UPI) -- No. 2 seed Dmitry Tursunov and qualifier Frank Dancevic advanced to the finals Friday at the AEGON International in Eastbourne, England.

They will meet in the championship match Saturday, setting the stage for Wimbledon's two-week run.

Tursunov defeated Guillermo Garcia-Lopez 6-2, 6-2 and Dancevic defeated fourth-seeded Fabrice Santoro 6-4, 6-4.

Tursunov is 5-2 in his career finals. His two most recent titles came last year in Sydney and Metz.

This will be the second career final for Dancevic. His only other appearance in a championship match resulted in a loss at Indianapolis in 2007.
