

'S-HERTOGENBOSCH, Netherlands, June 18 (UPI) -- No. 3-seeded David Ferrer lost Thursday in quarterfinal play of the Netherlands' Ordina Open, leaving Rainer Schuettler as the only seeded player in the field.
Ferrer, who was also the event's defending titlist, was ousted 6-4, 6-2 by Ivan Navarro. Ferrer won just eight fewer points that Navarro in the match but had his serve broken three times in the loss.
Schuettler, seeded fourth, took a pair of lengthy tiebreakers in advancing 7-6 (9-7), 3-6, 7-6 (13-11) at the expense of Jeremy Chardy.
Benjamin Becker defeated Michael Llodra 7-6 (8-6), 7-5 and earned a semifinals berth against Schuettler.
Navarro will go against wild-card entrant Raemon Sluiter in Friday's semifinals. Sluiter rallied for a 4-6, 6-4, 6-4 victory over Dudi Sela.
The Ordina Open is the final grass-court tune-up ahead of the Wimbledon Championships, which begin Monday.
