PHILADELPHIA, June 18 (UPI) -- A pinch ninth-inning homer by Rod Barajas Thursday gave the Toronto Blue Jays an 8-7 win over the Philadelphia Phillies, completing a three-game sweep.
His sixth homer this season snapped a 7-7 tie leading off the top of the ninth.
Adam Lind had three hits -- one a sixth-inning solo homer.
Vernon Wells had three hits and two RBI.
Raul Chavez had two hits and two RBI.
Scott Rolen had two hits and one RBI, while Marco Scutaro added two runs and two hits for the Blue Jays, who had lost four in a row before their surprising sweep at Citizens Bank Park.
The winner was Jason Frasor (5-0).
Jeremy Accardo earned his first save.
Philadelphia got a second-inning solo homer from Jayson Werth and one solo shot from Jimmy Rollins, John Mayberry Jr. and Greg Dobbs.
Rollins had three hits and two RBI.
Werth had two RBI and Shane Victorino had two hits and one RBI.
The losing pitcher was Ryan Madson (2-2).
