The evenness of the match was shown by each player winning 44 points in the third set. Tursunov was backed into eighth break-point situations but allowed Bogdanovic to finish off only one.
He goes against Denis Istomin in Thursday's quarterfinals. Istomin ousted sixth-seeded Sam Querrey 3-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4 in his match Wednesday.
