Tommie Harris' wife dies

ARLINGTON, Texas, June 16 (UPI) -- Ian Kinsler hit two solo home runs Tuesday to lead the Texas Rangers to a 6-1 victory over the Houston Astros.
Kevin Millwood (7-4) allowed one run and four hits in seven innings for the inter-league win. The right-hander has allowed one earned run over his last three starts in a span of 21 2/3 innings.
David Murphy also homered and Michael Young added a two-run double for the Rangers.
Houston catcher Ivan Rodriguez, who spent his first 12 seasons with the Rangers, homered and caught the 2,226th game of his career, tying Carlton Fisk for the major league record.
Wandy Rodriguez (5-6) gave up six runs and six hits in four innings and suffered his fourth straight loss.
