LONDON, June 14 (UPI) -- Scotland's Andy Murray won the Aegon Tennis Championships in London Sunday with a 7-5 6-4 victory against American James Blake.

The top-seeded Murray closed the first set by winning the last two games following a 30-0 advantage.

Of the 60 points played in the opening set, Murray had a 32-28 advantage.

In the second, he converted the lone break-point chance for either player to take a 4-3 lead and held serve from there to complete the match in 67 minutes, winning his second title this season and the 12th of his career.

"If I play my best like I have this week I've got a chance (at Wimbledon)," Murray told the BBC after losing just two sets the entire tournament. "But two of the greatest players of all-time (Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer) are going to be there and it will be tough to get past them."

Murray earned a $118,000 champion's check and Blake fell to 10-14 all-time in finals.
