
BALTIMORE, June 14 (UPI) -- Ty Wigginton homered twice Sunday, fueling Baltimore's 11-2 inter-league rout of the Atlanta Braves.
He hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the first inning and a solo shot in the fifth. Wigginton also led Baltimore's attack with three of its 15 hits and scored four times.
Robert Andino added three RBI and Brian Roberts drove in two with an RBI single and a sacrifice fly.
Two other Orioles had one RBI as Baltimore won for the second time in the three-game series.
Winner Brad Bergesen (4-2) pitched a complete-game five-hitter with three walks and two strikeouts.
Atlanta's David Ross hit solo homers in the seventh and ninth innings.
Three others had one hit for the Braves, who have lost four of five.
Losing pitcher Derek Lowe (7-4) yielded seven earned runs and eight hits in 2 1/3 innings.
