TORONTO, June 13 (UPI) -- Sam Cronin and Danny Dichio had first-half goals Saturday to give Toronto FC a 2-1 MLS victory over the New York Red Bulls.

Toronto (5-5-4) ended a two-game losing streak and the Red Bulls (2-10-3) have lost five straight.

Cronin opened the scoring for the Reds just three minutes into the match after a Seth Stammler hand ball in the New York penalty area earned Toronto a penalty kick. New York goalkeeper Danny Cepero made the save on Amado Guevara's kick, but Cronin scored on the rebound for his first goal of the season.

Dichio scored his third goal of the season two minutes before the break.

New York midfielder Albert Celades scored his first MLS goal in the 54th minute.
