OMAHA, June 13 (UPI) -- Homers by Zack Cox and Andy Wilkins Saturday helped Arkansas down Cal-State Fullerton 10-6 in the first game of the NCAA World Series at Omaha.
The Razorbacks led 2-0 after the first inning, 4-2 after three, and then went up 9-2 on a three-run fifth-inning shot by Wilkins and the second-seeded Titans never recovered.
With a run-scoring single and a sacrifice fly, Wilkins finished with two hits and five RBI. Cox had two hits and three RBI.
Scott Lyons hit a fourth-inning two-run single, while Ben Tschepikow had three runs and three hits for the Razobacks.
The winner was starter Dallas Keuchel (8-3).
Mike Bolsinger recorded his second save. CSF got three hits and one RBI from Christian Colon, two RBI from Gary Brown, and one run scored on Tschepikow's eighth-inning error.
Fullerton, which had won nine in a row, plays in a loser's bracket contest Monday.
