ST. PETERSBURG, Fla., June 11 (UPI) -- Carlos Pena hit the last of Tampa Bay's four home runs Thursday, a three-run shot in the eighth that finished off an 11-1 blasting of the Los Angeles Angels.

Pena also had a sacrifice fly in the third and Dioner Navarro contributed three RBI as part of a 15-hit attack. Tampa Bay won its second straight over the Angels, leaving both teams at the .500 mark.

Tampa Bay already had a 5-0 lead when Evan Longoria started the home run assault with a solo shot in the fifth. Carl Crawford blasted a bases-empty homer in the sixth and Navarro had a solo shot in the eighth to go with his two-run double in the fourth.

Starter David Price was unable to capitalize on the offensive show. He left after 4 2/3 innings, having walked six batters while giving up just one run.

Grant Balfour (3-1) got the victory with 1 2/3 scoreless innings of relief.

The loss went to Ervin Santana (1-3), who coughed up six runs on eight hits in 4 2/3. The Angels have lost four of five.
