ARLINGTON, Texas, June 9 (UPI) -- Brian Tallet pitched seven innings of two-hit shutout Tuesday and the Toronto offense rolled over the Texas Rangers 9-0.

Tallet (4-3) walked two while matching the longest outing of his career. Dirk Hayhurst and B.J. Ryan each threw a perfect inning of relief for the Blue Jays.

Aaron Hill and Adam Lind each hit homers for the Blue Jays, who won their third game in a row. Marco Scutaro also drove in two runs and Scott Rolen went 3- for-4, scored twice and had an RBI.

Doug Mathis (0-1) gave up five runs on seven hits with three walks in five innings in his first start this season. Brandon Boggs and Chris Davis each had a hit to account for all the offense for the Rangers, who have lost three of their last four games.
