Tommie Harris' wife dies

ATLANTA, June 9 (UPI) -- Yunel Escobar hit a two-run single in the bottom of the seventh inning Tuesday, keying the Atlanta Braves' 4-3 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Escobar finished 3-for-4 and scored a run. Chipper Jones had two hits and an RBI for the Braves, who have won three straight.
Derek Lowe (7-3) earned the win after allowing three runs on seven hits in seven innings.
Robinzon Diaz had a two-run double and Adam LaRoche added an RBI for Pittsburgh, which has lost three in a row.
Pittsburgh starter Ross Ohlendorf gave up three runs on eight hits in six-plus innings. Sean Burnett (1-2) was charged with the loss.
