LOS ANGELES, June 7 (UPI) -- Pau Gasol scored seven of his 24 points in overtime Sunday to help the Los Angeles Lakers beat Orlando 101-96 and take a 2-0 lead in the NBA Finals.

Kobe Bryant had 29 points and eight assists, one setting up a 3-point play by Gasol to cap a seven-point Lakers run in overtime.

Lamar Odom had 19 points and eight rebounds for the Lakers, who won the Finals opener 100-75 Thursday.

Rashard Lewis scored 34 points for the Magic. Hedo Turkoglu added 22 points and Dwight Howard finished with 17 points, 16 rebounds and four blocks for Orlando. Howard also had four steals, but committed seven of Orlando's 20 turnovers that led to 28 Lakers points.
