SAN DIEGO, June 7 (UPI) -- Will Venable and Chris Burke each had two hits, one RBI and one run scored Saturday to help the San Diego Padres beat Arizona 6-4.

The Padres scored all their runs in the sixth inning, when Burke drove in Venable and then scored on David Eckstein's single. Brian Giles -- who finished with two hits and two RBI -- drove in Eckstein and Adrian Gonzalez with a two-out single before Venable drove in Chase Headley with the Padres' final run.

Starter Kevin Correia (2-4) got the win, going six innings and allowing two runs on five hits with one walk and four strikeouts for San Diego, which stopped a four-game losing streak.

Heath Bell allowed one run in the ninth but picked up his 16th save for the Padres.

Eric Byrnes drove in two runs and Justin Upton and Stephen Drew each had one RBI for the Diamondbacks, who have lost three of their last four games. Upton homered in the eighth.

Arizona starter Max Scherzer pitched five scoreless innings, allowing three hits and five walks, and striking out six, before giving way to Leo Rosales in the sixth. In 2/3 of an inning of relief, Rosales allowed two runs on two hits. He was followed by Daniel Schlereth (0-2), who gave up four runs on one hit, and failed to get anybody out.
