Former NBA player Orlando Woolridge arrested for theft

CINCINNATI, June 7 (UPI) -- Alfonso Soriano's home run highlighted a three-run 14th inning Sunday that gave the Chicago Cubs a 6-3 victory over the Cincinnati Reds.
Ryan Theriot had three hits, including a solo homer, for the Cubs, who have won three of their last four games.
Four of Chicago's last five games have gone to extra innings and all but Sunday's have been one-run contests.
Chicago starter Randy Wells allowed two runs in a 6 2/3-innings. Six Cubs relievers pitched 7 1/3 scoreless innings. David Patton (2-1) earned the win for pitching the 13th.
Mike Lincoln (1-1) gave up three runs in the top of the 14th to take the loss.
Laynce Nix had three hits for the Reds, who have lost seven of their last 10 games.
