Tommie Harris' wife dies

SEATTLE, June 6 (UPI) -- Ichiro Suzuki was 3-for-4 with an RBI and a run in the eighth on Ken Griffey Jr.'s double Saturday to lead the Seattle Mariners to a 2-1 win over Minnesota.
Chris Jakubauskas (4-5) earned the victory by retiring the final two batters in the eighth inning for Seattle, which has won three of four.
Mike Redmond drove in the lone run for the Twins. Brendan Harris extended his hitting streak to 11 games.
Sean Henn (0-1) took the loss after giving up the run in the eighth inning.
