PITTSBURGH, June 4 (UPI) -- Jason Jaramillo had two hits and four RBI Thursday to lead the Pittsburgh Pirates to an 11-6 win over the New York Mets.

He hit two-run singles in both the first and fourth innings, raising his RBI total to 12 this season.

The one hit for Andy LaRoche was a two-run, first-inning single.

Ramon Vazquez had four hits and one RBI.

Andrew McCutchen scored three times and was one of three others with one RBI for the Pirates, who have won four of five.

McCutchen was making his major league debut after he was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis to replace Nate McLouth, who was traded to Atlanta Wednesday.

The winner was reliever Steven Jackson (1-0).

David Wright, Carlos Beltran and Fernando Martinez led New York, all with two hits and one RBI.

Beltran belted a solo fourth-inning homer.

Luis Castillo and Alex Cora had one RBI each for the Mets, who averted a three-game sweep.

The losing pitcher was starter Mike Pelfrey (4-2).
