DUBLIN, Ohio, June 3 (UPI) -- Tiger Woods, seeking his second win of the season, returns to action Thursday in the opening round of the Memorial Tournament in Ohio.
Woods has taken three weeks off since finishing tied for eighth at the Players Championship.
His lone victory since coming back from knee surgery was at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, but he has five top-10 finishes in his six appearances this year.
The top four in the FedEx Cup points standings -- Zach Johnson, Steve Stricker, Geoff Ogilvy and Sean O'Hair -- will all be present at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Muirfield Village course.
Also on hand will be Vijay Singh, Paul Casey, Ernie Els and defending champion Kenny Perry.
Stricker is coming off his sudden-death victory over Tim Clark and Steve Marino last Sunday at the Colonial Invitational.
Woods won this tournament three years in a row beginning in 1999. The last of those triumphs was by seven shots over Paul Azinger and Sergio Garcia.
