ST. LOUIS, June 3 (UPI) -- The St. Louis Cardinals rode a two-run double by Nick Stavinoha and four shutout innings by their bullpen Tuesday to a 5-2 in over the Cincinnati Reds.

The rookie put the Cards ahead in the sixth inning. Albert Pujols also had two RBI and Skip Schumaker scored twice.

After St. Louis starter Brad Thompson gave up two runs on five hits in the first five innings, five St. Louis relievers combined to no-hit the Reds the rest of the way. Jason Motte (2-1) got the win and Ryan Franklin picked up his 13th save.

Reds starter Bronson Arroyo (7-4) was tagged with the loss after surrendering five runs on seven hits in 5 1/3 innings.

Laynce Nix and Adam Rosales drove in the Cincinnati runs in the fourth.
