CHICAGO, June 3 (UPI) -- Bobby Crosby, Landon Powell and Jason Giambi all hit solo home runs Wednesday, helping rally Oakland to a 5-3 win over the Chicago White Sox.
The Athletics handed the White Sox their second straight loss after Chicago had won a season-best four straight.
Jermaine Dye's two-run homer in the first inning, his 14th of the season, staked Chicago to an early lead. Oakland then tied it in the second and eased in front on the homers by Crosby and Powell in the fourth and Giambi's shot in the fifth.
Josh Outman (3-0) stayed unbeaten while allowing three runs, two of them earned, on seven hits in 6 2/3 innings. He retired the last eight men he faced. Andrew Bailey recorded the last five outs for his third save.
Clayton Richard (2-1) gave up five runs on seven hits and four walks in 5 1/3.
Powell and Aaron Cunningham had RBI singles in the second to bring Oakland from behind.
