LOS ANGELES, June 2 (UPI) -- Mark Reynolds drove in a run, scored once and turned in a couple of defensive gems Monday to help the Arizona Diamondbacks beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 3-2.

Reynolds and Miguel Montero scored on a second-inning double by Josh Whitesell and Reynolds then drove in the decisive run on a fielder's choice in the eighth. That put the Diamondbacks up 3-0, and Arizona held off a Dodgers rally in the bottom of the ninth to preserve the win, Arizona's fourth in seven games.

Tony Pena allowed RBI singles to Rafael Furcal and Juan Pierre in the ninth inning but got Mark Loretta to fly out and earned his first save.

The Dodgers tied a team record with five wild pitches -- three by Cory Wade and two by Brent Leach.

Billy Buckner (2-1) picked up the win, allowing four hits in six innings for Arizona.

Pierre had three hits for the Dodgers, who lost for third time in their last four games.

Hiroki Kuroda (1-1), in his first start since Opening Day, came off the 15-day disabled list prior to the game to allow three hits and two runs in five innings.
