Tommie Harris' wife dies

MIAMI, June 1 (UPI) -- Jorge Cantu was 2-for-4 with two RBI, including one on a hit-by-pitch, to help the Florida Marlins post a 7-4 win over the Milwaukee Brewers Monday.
Hanley Ramirez added three hits and an RBI for the Marlins, who have won five of eight. Jeremy Hermida, Dan Uggla and Chris Coghlan each had an RBI.
Cristhian Martinez (1-1) earned the win with 1 2/3 scoreless relief innings and two hits. Florida starter Andrew Miller gave up four runs on six hits and four walks in 4 1/3 innings.
Jason Kendall and Casey McGehee each had two hits and an RBI for the Brewers.
Jorge Julio (1-1) was charged with the loss after allowing five runs without recording an out. Starter Jeff Suppan gave up two runs on seven hits in five innings.
