MLS: San Jose 2, Real Salt Lake 1

SANTA CLARA, Calif., May 31 (UPI) -- Cornell Glen and Arturo Alvarez scored and the San Jose Earthquakes beat Real Salt Lake 2-1 Saturday to end a five-game MLS losing streak.

Robbie Findley scored for Real Salt Lake.

Glen, playing in his first game for the Quakes (2-7-2), scored after a feed from Mike Zaher in the 52nd minute. Zaher -- who was also making his debut with San Jose -- got a second assist when he fed Alvarez 10 minutes later.

Findley scored his sixth goal for Real Salt Lake (3-6-2).
