ANAHEIM, Calif., May 31 (UPI) -- Yuniesky Betancourt's 10th-inning sacrifice fly Saturday lifted the Seattle Mariners to a 4-3 come-from-behind win over the Los Angeles Angels.
Betancourt's one out game-winner came after a dramatic three-run ninth-inning homer by Jose Lopez off Angels' closer Brian Fuentes created a 3-3 tie and sent the contest into extra innings.
Adrian Beltre had three hits and Russell Branyan two for the Mariners, who have won three in a row.
The winner after a scoreless ninth was reliever Miguel Batista (3-1).
David Aardsma earned his eighth save.
Erick Aybar, Gary Matthews Jr. and Maicer Izturis had one RBI each for LA. Aybar, Vladimir Guerrero and Torii Hunter had two hits each for the Angels, who have lost four of five.
The losing pitcher was reliever Jose Arredondo (1-2).
Seattle tries to complete a three-game sweep Sunday.
