
ORLANDO, Fla., May 30 (UPI) -- Dwight Howard had 40 points and 14 rebounds Saturday to lead the Orlando Magic to a 103-90 win over Cleveland and the Eastern Conference title.
The Magic will visit the Los Angeles Lakers Thursday for the opening game of the NBA Finals.
Rashard Lewis added 18 points for Orlando, which reached the NBA Finals for only the second time. Houston swept Orlando in 1995.
LeBron James scored 25 points for the Cavaliers, who held off elimination with a 112-102 win Thursday.
The Magic hit 12-of-29 from 3-point range Saturday and held James scoreless during the second quarter, when they stretched a five-point lead to a 58-40 halftime margin.
Orlando held James to four points in the final period.
Delonte West scored 22 points for the Cavaliers, who had the NBA's best regular season record.
