MLB: Philadelphia 5, Florida 3

PHILADELPHIA, May 26 (UPI) -- Joe Blanton had 11 strikeouts Tuesday while pitching Philadelphia to a 5-3 victory over the Florida Marlins.

Blanton (3-3) went seven innings and surrendered five hits and two walks. Florida's Andrew Miller (1-2), gave up four runs on seven hits with four walks in six innings.

Florida got all three of its runs in the ninth inning off two relief pitchers before Brad Lidge got the last two outs for his ninth save.

Shane Victorino had four hits, including two doubles, and Pedro Feliz drove in two runs for the Phillies, who have won nine of their last 12 games.

Cody Ross had three of Florida's six hits.
