
OAKLAND, Calif., May 26 (UPI) -- Travis Buck hit a solo home run and scored three times Monday in the Oakland Athletics' 6-1 victory over the Seattle Mariners.
Adam Kennedy helped out with four hits and two RBI, while Jack Hannahan also drove in a run as Oakland won for the second game in a row.
Brett Anderson (2-4) went six innings, giving up a run on six hits and two walks. He struck out four. Kevin Cameron got the save, allowing two hits in the final three innings.
Seattle catcher Kenji Johjima had a solo homer but left in the third after a first-inning play in which Kennedy slid into his foot at home. Johjima fractured a bone in his left big toe and could miss up to two weeks.
Ichiro Suzuki went 4-for-4 and extended his hitting streak to 19 games.
Chris Jakubauskas (3-5) was the loser, surrendering five runs -- four earned -- on six hits in 3 1/3 innings.
Seattle has lost four of its last seven games.
